Excellent rain protection
Date:
After a bad experience with a different Frogg Toggs suit, I gave this one a try and I am glad I did. These ones are a lot sturdier and -- most importantly -- have never failed me. I have been in pouring rain all day with this suit and stayed dry. As with all rain suits I have ever had, the water eventually begins to seep in through the wrist openings but it is minimal. Most importantly, no seeping through the seams. Cut is excellent, long in the back, which prevents it from moving up when you bent over or sit down. I can highly recommend it.

great material and fit...........BAD ZIPPERS
Date:
This set was bought for an early fall 2010 fishing trip to Lake Ontario. I tired the suit on.... felt good, it was the right size and everything was good. The first day on the water, the zipper broke on a pocket. The second day, the other zipper went and the velcro flap that holds the material over the zipper on the pant leg came unstitched and fell off. The material itself is good. Never got really wet with exception of near the cuff and around the collar / hood area. By this time it was past being able to return it plus it had gotten stained. I use the pants now for bombing around when i go 4 wheeling . The jacket was good for about a year then the pocket zippers came apart and just recently the main front zipper is giving me problems. I've only spoken to one other person who ownes a Frogg Togg and he too had zippers break. Had the zippers been of high quality and they still functioned, I would have given the product a 4-5 star rating.

Not a Ducks Bumb
Date:
On a trip to Alaska last summer to fish I wanted to make sure that this time I would not get wet. It rains almost all of the time and the year before I became soaked multiple times with the ski gear I had brought. I had seen commercials on Frogg Toggs and new that this was the answer I had waited for, since they advertised it was good for "wetter than Heck." The first day on the water the rain came, and I did OK, but I noticed a little wetness on my backside. I thought this could be perspiration from reeling in large salmon, so I dismissed it. The next couple of days, the fishing was slow and the rain continued to poor. This is when I discovered that Frogg Toggs are not the suggested 100% Waterproof, but more in the realm of 5-15% water resistant.

Wet bottom

Bought a set of women's frogg toggs back in May for a fishing trip this summer. They fit so well that we bought a set of men's. However, we just returned from Canada and were both very disappointed! The jackets worked well keeping us dry but we both ended up with wet jeans when we sat down. The pants leak! We are returning the men's for a refund, however, we are past the 90 days for the women's set. Bummer! At least the jacket is useable. Disappointing!
