I first purchased Cabela's polar weight clothing through its mail order service when I was 16 years old (That was nearly 30 years ago, it's been used extensively, is still in fine shape, and my son continues to wear it!) This IS for cold weather OR sitting still in cooler weather (such as early or late day in the Fall.) The beauty of the new zip-mock style is that temperature can be controlled a bit better over the older style turtle necks. No need to unzip unless you've been on the move in cold, but not freezing weather. Still an excellent product after all of these years!
