This is the thickest, and the best made base layer yet. Under armour make's great product's. I own a closet full of under armour stuff. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay warm in the coldest weather out there.

Nice tight fitting

Rides a little bit but you can barely tell its there. The days of the long john t's are over. Keeps your body at a good temp.

I to have a closet full of UA both cold gear and heat gear, it is the best active clothing bar none. But when it states that it is compression fit it will be very tight. That is how it traps your body heat. If you don't like the tight fit I sudjest you by the (fitted) not the compression.

I got the bottoms for Xmas and, unlike dukassasin (see other reviews) I think they fit just fine. I got a parge and I am 6-2 and 225 lbs. I wore them the last 2 days duck hunting and had a pair of flannel lined Carhartt Jeans over them and my neoprene chest waders on top. Temperatures were in the 20s and I had good flexibility with very low bulk and no cold issues. I will be buying the tops for the complete set this week. I highly recommend the product and hope it last because the $$ is the only drawback. As long as they last, they're totally worth the investment.
