Good Choice
Date:
Great comfort, great traction on ice and slippery surfaces, tight fit over the arch, Joe Average looks, but overall a good choice and it appears at this point they will last until I die.

Purchased for winter cycling
Date:
I bought this shoe specifically for winter bicycle commuting and I can say now that I think I made a good choice. In sub 30 degree rides this shoe combined with a polar fleece sock kept my feet warm. I can't be sure if it's the insulation or the windproofness of the leather that should get the credit but they feel warmer than any shoe I have worn to date. They are difficult to put on and I should be using a shoe horn as they are still brand new. Hopefully they will relax a bit as they wear in. They are very easy to remove with the ribbed plastic heel. If you can get past the funky look they may become your favorite cold weather shoe for every day use.
