Great Quality!
Date:
I bought the Snow Claw for ice fishing because my old pair didn't have the rubber toe like these do. So far I've been pretty impressed with the warmth and quality Irish Setter offers. My first pair of Irish Setters are going on close to 10 years and still work great. I strongly recommend this product!

Not an Extreme Cold Boot
Date:
I bought these to use on stand during the late season bow hunt in Northern MN. The boots are very comfortable. Have great traction. They lace up nicely and are comfortable to walk in. I did not find them to be overly awkward or too big as some reviewers stated. I was actually surprised how "small" they were for a 2,000 gram boot. They are a little stiff at the start but break in nicely in a short period of time. They are very easy to get on and off.
With all that said, I returned them because they did not keep my feet warm (with a liner and Cabela's best winter sock) in temps less than 25 deg. I was very disappointed because I really wanted to keep this boot because of it's fit and feel but cold feet are no fun. I could not wear two pairs of thick socks with this boot. Too tight. I wear a size 13 in boots and ordered a 13. I still do not think two socks would have helped my cold feet. Obviously other reviews have had better success with this boot, but it just didn't work for my needs. Would recommend these boots with caution.

Great boots
Date:
I am an avid ice fisherman. I could never find a boot that would keep my feet warm for the whole day. After I purchased these boots my feet never got cold. Even after drilling holes all day and an inch of ice covering the boots in -15 degree weather my feet stayed warm and dry. I'd recommend these boots to anyone who needs a good pair of boots for the cold weather.

Wow, what a boot
Date:
I've had Rocky's and they are good, but when reading the reviews with the problems I looked further. Found the reviews about these boots and thought it was pretty positive.
I live in northern Wisconsin, on the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage and do a lot of ice fishing and hunting. I've wore these boot a number of times ice fishing and my feet stay very warm. They are a little stiff, but being new I think they'll break in just find. My wife wants a set, but they don't have her size. Also all my buddies are looking at getting a pare. Great boot, I'm glad that I bought one size bigger.....<*){{{{><
