Cabela's Inferno™ 2000 Pac Boots – Black

We challenge you to find boots more capable of taking on the worst that winter can throw at you for less money. Warmth is supplied by incredible 2,000-gram Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation, the most we've ever used in pac boots. The 100% waterproof Dry-Plus® linings are moisture-wicking to keep your feet dry in all conditions. Aggressive rubber outsoles bite into snow and mud to give you superior traction. These boots have lightweight EVA midsoles for extra cushioning and support, full-grain leather and nylon uppers, and abrasion-resistant toe and heel caps for lasting durability. What's more, our Inferno 2000 Pac Boots give you all these features, superior comfort and warmth without the bulkiness you might expect from such boots. Imported.

Great Boot
Date:
These are the warmest boots I have ever owned. The fit was just fine for me. I waited 2 weeks for them to get to my local store and the wait was well worth it!I can't wait for the weather to get really cold!!!

The best boots on the market!
Date:
I would rate these 10 stars, these are the best boots on the market, the sole of these boots are like monster truck tires you have grip all over and they dont slip, I walked on rocks with snow and ice on them and walked through it like if I was walking on flat clean ground, super monster truck traction! These boots are very warm, I paired these boots with the cabelas wool socks and polar fleece socks and what a great combo, you should buy them one size bigger and with these socks they fill in the rest, these boots are great, thank you cabelas for such great products! happy hunting!

warm and comfortable from a great company
Date:
These boots are warm and comfortable. They replaced a pair of 20 year old Sorel pack boots that had finally seen their time come. Overall, I love these new boots and would highly recommend.
First impressions are that they are much lighter weight than my old pack boots and are comfortable to walk around in with only minor stiffness. I can lace the boots up medium-tight and can slip them on and off without having to re-lace which is really nice for shoveling the driveway or checking the mail. They definitely run a size small even if you don't intend on layering wool socks. I returned my first pair for a size larger than I normally wear and can now wear them with or without a pair of light weight Cabelas wool socks..perfect.
Now for the performance..these boots are crazy warm. As long as the boots (and your feet# are warm when you put them on, you can wear them all day in -20 below and even stand on glare ice all day without the cold soaking through. I have even walked through a few slush puddles that were pretty deep and the boots kept my feet dry. The soles have excellent traction on both loose snow and glare ice.
The only complaint I have with the boot is that the nylon part ripped after rubbing on a bolt that sticks out of my snowmobile tunnel. Even though this issue is likely my fault, it is worth noting that my previous boots stood up to this for years without failure. I can't knock a star off my review however because I contacted Cabellas this year #the boots were over a year old) and they sent me a brand new pair of boots free of charge in return for sending the old ones back. Now that's a company that stands by their product! Buy with confidence!

They perform as advertised.
Date:
The outside limit to my time on the ice had always been cold feet. Typically after a couple of hours on a Northern Minnesota lake my feet turn into ice blocks signaling time to go to shore. These boots have completely eliminated cold feet. I can stay on the ice all day and my feet stay warm to the touch. I have used them well over 150 hours so far this winter without complaint. Now that spring is arriving slush is a common hazard. I got a 4 wheeler stuck in nine inches of the stuff the other day and to my surprise my feet stayed dry and warm while I worked to free the machine. Terrific boots, they perform as advertised.
