We took our already very popular Deerskin Shearling Slippers and made them even better. These Booties feature a 100% shearling lining and improved indoor/outdoor nonmarking outsoles. Full shearling sheepskin is one of nature's best insulators and a joy to have next to your feet. It keeps feet warm in cold weather, yet naturally adjusts as temperatures rise. Inherent moisture-wicking properties ensure a comfortably warm and dry feeling. On the outside, the extremely soft deerskin leather is very supple and needs no breaking in. You'll enjoy plush comfort right out of the box.

fall apart slippers

The sheerling came off the bottom and sides of the slipper, sole seperated from the bottom, and the side of the slpper came apart (unglued) ALL within two weeks after purchase.

Read the reviews: def. order one size up - I wear a size 12 and ordered the 13: perfect fit! Out of the box I put them right on and did some house chores: these slippers are THE WARMEST I've ever had and the fit is perfect.
The soles are of decent thickness so wearing them outside to bring out recycling wouldn't be a problem. Would def. recommend these to anyone who wants an all around slipper.

I got these a year ago for Christmas. Out of the box they ran a little small, however a year later they have broken in nicely. My only complaint is the shearling lining is shedding. I had a similar pair of "wicked good" slippers from another brand that lasted me any easy 6 or 7 years, in fact I still have them but the stitching to the sole wore out becuase I wore them outside (had an indoor only sole). I like these from Cabelas because they have an indoor/outdoor sole, but never encountered any problems with the shearling shedding on the "wicked good" slippers. Overall these are good slippers and I would recommend them. The size runs small but they broke in nicely.

I think they will be ok this winter. your size 12 as ordered is more like a 11 1/2 or so but they will stretch i hope. Have already worn or would send back.
