Sourced from the southern Alps of New Zealand, the pure alpine merino wool used in these premium base layers truly does it all. The breathable, moisture-wicking fabric is naturally antimicrobial and odor-resistant, has a UPF rating between 25 and 50+ for sun protection, and is machine washable for easy care. The super-fine texture feels soft and smooth against the skin. Icebreaker is so proud of their merino wool they include a specific "baacode" with every garment that you can enter on their website to trace the garment back to the exact sheep station where the wool originated. Wear the 260-weight garments in a layering system ideally suited for cold conditions. Top has raglan sleeves for ease of movement, zip-neck collar and droptail hem. Close fitting – if you prefer a more relaxed fit order one size larger than normal. Imported.
