Danner® Radical 452 GTX® Hiker

This is the time-tested design that helped to re-establish Danner® as one of the premier hiking boot makers in the world. Based on the advanced Terra Force technology, the Radical 452 GTX is as light as it is tough. While internal and external nylon shanks provide uncompromising stability and responsiveness, a super-soft polyurethane midsole and sturdy footplate provide comfort without sacrificing security. And with the trusted, 100% waterproof protection of GORE- TEX®, your feet will be as dry as they are comfortable.

Unbelievably comfortable and tough. It took several years of abuse to wear out the first pair, and this second pair is every bit as comfortable.

Good solid hiking boot. Plenty of toe box room for my duck feet. Good traction in snow and sand while hiking in southern Utah Kodachrome Basin in January.

I purchased my first pair of Danner Radical 452GTX hikers about six months ago, treated them properly with the recommended water repellant/leather preservative and I wear them every day all day in mud, water, freezers and cutting timber....best boots I've ever owned! After the first month I was hooked and ordered a second pair on line in case they stop making them. As soon as I get some more spare cash I'll order a third pair!
