Danner® Light II Hikers

Danner's® rugged GORE-TEX® Light II hikers let you cover mile after mile of trail in complete comfort. An ideal all-around outdoor boot, this time- tested Danner® classic boasts Danner's® stitchdown construction. The full-grain nubuck waterproof leather repels moisture, and the 1,000-denier Cordura® nylon uppers resist the scuffs, abrasions and tears caused by tough terrain. The GORE-TEX® bootie keeps water out and the moisture-wicking lining ensures your feet stay dry over the miles on the trail. The Vibram® 148 Kletterlift outsole provides support and traction on tough terrain. An airthotic footbed and dual-density rubber and polyurethane midsole ensure your feet stay comfortable throughout a long hike. Each also has a padded collar for added comfort. Made in USA.

Was skeptic of the Danner Light II Hikers being as advertised. Needless worry, they are better than expected and can not say enough good things about the Danner II Hikers.
Break-in was a surprising easy experience with the overall comfort exceptional.
I have weak ankles and the 6\u201d height permit lace up tight around ankle comfortably for added support.
I have not experienced a problem with width as some customers have indicated.
Overall am pleased with the hikers and wish I had purchased the better quality of boot years ago to save money on other brands now abandoned from use.

Ordered these boots on 12/15 and they were delivered 12/19. After looking at the reviews here I ordered the EE width and they are a perfect fit. I have worn them every day since. They were easy to "Break In" with very little rubbing or stiffness. The boots are well made and Cabela's had them at a great price. I highly recommend these boots and give them a 5 star Rating. Thanks Danner and Cabela's!

Excellent hiking boots

I've been wearing these, on almost a daily basis, for a month with no problems. Did some hiking in the Grand Canyon and Arches/Canyonlands Natl Park in December. Thet gave good ankle support and kept my feet dry.

These are great boots. They are similar to my Danner Commanders that I were daily on duty. It's great to have a set of boots tan colored.
