The sprain-preventing S3 heel suspension system absorbs ground shock and boosts stability on uneven terrain. Metatomical, dual-density EVA footbeds cradle your feet for long-haul hiking comfort. Dual-density, compression-molded EVA midsoles cushion each step. Secure Fit lacing system for a custom, nonslip fit. Washable nubuck uppers lined are with moisture-wicking nylon. Nonmarking rubber outsoles with multidirectional 4mm lugs. Protective wrapped toecaps. Mesh tongues. Imported.

These are well-made shoes, light, cool on the feet, and very sturdy. The decorative band is also reflective, so visability/safety is a nice added feature.
Great shoes.
Buy a pair and try them yourselves.

Tried my new Keen Arroyo II sandal in the field this week, hiking/sporting clays/retriever training.
They are very comfortable and give your foot a very stable platform in hilly and rocky terrain.
I liked them so much I ordered an additional pair for backup.
