Very strange fit
Date:
The arch support, if that's what you can call it, is extremely forward. Almost under the ball of my foot. The foot bed is too firm, my heel won't stay tucked, the laces ride up over the top of the tongue, and they are very narrow. Don't offer a wide size.
But they look nice!

Siskiyou's actually are waterproof!
Date:
After 2 returns (Cabelas was great of course) of a similar Merrell low waterproof hikers due to regular leaks, I took a chance on these Keen shoes (my first pair of Keen's) as they had no reviews. After about 4 weeks of regular use here in NJ in arguably the wettest September on record, I am happy to report that they perform as advertised! Dry as a bone in regular a.m. walks in the county parks in medium to high cut fields often in heavy dew and rain soaked fields? Good choice for this type of use.
