One great shoe

Danner Zigzag is the best shoe I have ever owned. The shoe took a little while to break-in which a good shoe or boot will do, that is if it is going to support your feet. Shoes are water tight. I wear them on hikes over rough terrain, they have been through snow, wet grass, mud and they are doing well. I have had these Danner Zigzag Low Hikers for 8 months. The only thing I have done to them is washing off the mud and a few times treated them with Danner Boot Dressing. If you are looking for a shoe with great foot support this is the one.

Great shoes for wet weather walks.

I have been wearing the Danner® Zigzag Low Hikers for almost six months and my feet have always stayed comfortable and dry. Most of my walks are through fields wet with the morning dew and not once has any moisture soaked through. I would have given a five star rating, but the shoe strings on both shoes have gone bad. The string has an outer layer covering that pulls apart.

I bought these Danners at the end of October because of the wet weather we have here in November in PA. The first pair I returned the same day because my toes got wet after wearing them in the rain. I called cabelas about the problem and they sent me out a new pair. After wearing the second pair I noticed the poor gluing around the toe and sole of the boots. It looks like they coundn't controll were they were putting the glue. I will be calling Danner about the boots and see what they can do to fix the problem. All I can say is look for somethig else. Thanks
