size is incorrect

I purchased these shoes online and have wore the same size for 30 years. These shoes are not the size they are marked and I have a good looking pair of door stops. Not hard to have a quality control dept.???

shoe runs size smaller in width and length
Date:
Ordered 12EE and fits like 11C. I must pay return postage to exchange for larger size but I'm going to return for credit . The shoe design has a problem in the width. It's a narrow shoe with a small toe box and I would have to order a EEE or 4E for the shoe to work.

Mesa low hiking boots
Date:
These shoes are considered low, however they are high enough to give me ankle support. They have good grip. They work well in the mud and wet grass. They are comfortable and will keep feet dry, short of walking in the creek. For the price I was suprised at the quality compared to the price.

Disappointed
Date:
My wife bought these for me for Christmas. I've worn a 9W for 30 years. 9's are a little long for me but 81/2 are too short. Wife got 9EE. When I first put them on I thought they felt short and narrow but figured they would probably be OK. After a day of wearing them, no matter how I wish it wasn't true, they just won't do. Toe box is both too short and too narrow. Really wears on the big toe. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to standardize size and fit. I expect more of Cabelas. Poor quality control on this product
