Cabela's CoolMax® Midcalf Liner Socks – Two-Pack

The Midcalf CoolMax® Liner Sock is made of special four-channel dacron polyester liner has 20% more surface area than ordinary fiber, enabling it to transport moisture away from the skin quicker so it can evaporate without absorbing liquids into the fiber itself. Per two pair.

Really nice liner sock

I like these socks because they are much taller than normal socks and as a result, are always taller than my boots. I have never had a blister while wearing them either. I wear a high wool content outer sock and these liner socks do a good job wicking the sweat away from my foot and out to the wool sock where it can evaporate and keep my feet warm. I never go hunting without them on...no matter how warm or cold the weather is.

I purchased the liner socks to go under neoprene socks to wear on bird watching trips instead of heavy boots. I will be using water shoes and the neoprene socks in place of heavy boots. This should cut down on the weight of luggage.

These liners socks are great. Wore them steelhead fishing 3 times already, with Smart Wool socks in 35 deg water for several hours and my feet stayed very comfortable and dry. They do get dirty and look stained even after washing, but they are white after all...
Will buy more when necessary, and plan on giving as a birthday gift to my son-in-law who's an ice fisherman!!
