Cabela's Bowhunter Convertible Gloves by Manzella®

An exclusive bow-release collar in these gloves lets hunters wear their favorite release next to the skin while still protecting hands from the elements. Bowhunters know that wind, rain, snow and cold can stress hands and degrade grip strength, especially when holding at full draw and waiting for the right moment to release. The Convertible Gloves have fleece shells with leather palm patches and 40-gram Thinsulate™ Insulation. Heat-pack pocket for extreme cold. Imported.
Sizes: M-XL.
Camo pattern: Realtree AP™.

Rifle and Bow and Ice Fishing!
Date:
I used these gloves last year for rifle season in Montana. The velcro is loud, but since the fingers stick out, I don't need to take them off too often. I put them on my kid on horseback, since his hands were colder than mine, and I liked to never get them back. Then I used them ice fishing all winter. I used heat packets during ice fishing season. I hand washed them in woolite cold water and put them on a boot dryer. This year I used them for archery season; really nice for the cold morning and evening 4 wheeler rides to and from the areas we hunt. I bought a second pair this fall, and am now buying a third pair so two of the three kids will have their own and leave mine alone.

Why Velccro?
Date:
Why do they use velcro for the wrist? They are extremely loud on the stand. It is not safe to put mittens on before climbing into a tree stand and the noisy wrist straps will spook game. I would give these mittens/gloves high marks if they redesigned the wrists.
