Our low-nap Microtex Shirt is as soft and quiet as fleece, yet it’s also as tough as denim to shed burs, seeds and leaves. Virtually no other fabric remains as quiet while withstanding the punishment that a season’s worth of contact with heavy brush, wire fences and other in-the-field obstacles can deliver. The key to the unmatched strength and silence of this combed polyester material comes from its low-nap, incredibly tight, microweave construction. It also dries quickly, is breathable and is extremely wind-resistant. Best of all, it won’t fade even after repeated washings, guaranteeing the camo pattern and garment look like new for many seasons to come. Seven-button front, two button-close chest pockets and a banded collar. Button-close cuffs and an extra-long tail. Imported. Sizes: M-3XL. Camo patterns:Realtree AP™, Mossy Oak Break-Up® Infinity™, Outfitter Camo™, Seclusion 3D®.
Just bought my second one! I live and hunt in Ohio and this shirt is perfect for layering. It's extremely comfortable, not bulky, and incredibly warm for it's weight. If Cabela's ever stops making it I don't know what I'll do!
so it is not as quiet as fleece but not bad. Fit is great. Light and seems breathable, like the outfitter camo but wished it a tad more pale on the grey zones...more dirty looking would be better...a little bright...but overall great price super fast delivery to Calgary AB. Very happy with the purchase. If they would sell it in MAX-1 I would get one more set.
The easy has potential for a 5 because the quality is definitely there. But it fits as if the arms and shoulders are a large but then as if the belly is a XXL. Just a bit off. I love Cabelas clothes but they are simply made for mass production.
I purchased my first set of Microtex before the 2010 hunting season here in New Mexico. I am a bow hunter and guide here so my clothes tend to wear out every season. These things wear like iron. They are the best light weight hunting clothes I have used. They can be layered to keep warm and are as quiet as you can get. I have purchased a second set for the 2011 season and will buy another for 2012. I like the outfitters camo. In my experience, the more open pattern works better than a certain color pattern in breaking up outlines here. I had a cow elk come within 10 yards before she realized what I was. She saw me from about 150 yards out and was curious. I highly recommend these to anyone and find the other guides getting them and feeling the same way. Great Product!
