Runs small, made in China
Date:
I just got these pants and haven't had them in the field yet, but based on trying them on at home I have a few observations.
1. These are made in China. I wish Cabela's would indicate where items are made, as I really try to avoid buying anything made in China.
2. The size seems to run small. For jeans, I wear a size 40 pant, so I ordered the XL of these. The waist is snug. With jeans, the waist of a size 40 is fairly loose on me. So you may want to order the next size up if you are in the upper range of a size.
3. The material is pretty heavy...when I first picked them up I thought they may be insulated but it's just a heavier fabric. Not a complaint per se, but I was hoping for a more lightweight material. Something to consider.
Otherwise, they look to be good, solid hunting pants.

Good heavy pants
Date:
For the price these are hard to beat. I am so hard on camo,I usually come in from hunting and have a chore or something that I " forgot about ?" Well instead of changing I jump on it. Thats what usually does my camo in. So far these pants have stood their ground. The stiching, the color, the fabric all seems good. My only con is the little waist adjustment tabs wont stay tight. I have to use a belt. No deal breaker. For the price cant be beat.
