Well, when I got this i was shocked at how fast it got here. Cabela's does ship fast. When I got the jacket it was snowing out. i used it right there and then. It breaks down the wind, it is water-proof, and is really warm. It is lined with Gore-Tex. I really like it. It will help with the Ohio coyote hunt i will be doing.

very adaptable garment and camo

As the sales pitch states it makes for a good layering garment which fits snug under same size coats but works well as a top layer which I use it as predominantly handling cold winds and showers. Heavy rain would have you heading for the truck if you didnt have a coat. Shooting over a choc lab and having seen him against every back drop whether dry or wet in my experience I beleive the colour brown is the most adaptable colour to our enviroment so the browns and shades within the camo pattern are bang on but I did darken the camo up slightly with a light spray of brown from a distance which took out the grey but didnt stiffen up or stink the fabric and it has held its colour and definition. For me the hoodie is good around the neck if needed. Good hardy contruction. The cut is standard and I haven't had any hang ups when shouldering at speed. After countless camo tops which have found my mates with open hands I recon Ive found the garment that takes on the enviroment, mud and blood any hot mallard shoot has to throw at it. It would be a five star if it was manufactured darker but the shade may be suited to the U.S better. Plan to visit one day for some flooded timber action.

picked it up on sale and very pleased, tag said windproof and it didnt lie ha! only have worn it around the house but WA state is pretty windy and rainy its held up very nice will use under uninsulated jacket this decembers archery late buck seems pretty warm as is but we'll see how it fairs on the mountain
