Our Microtex Uninsulated Jacket is as soft and quiet as fleece, and it is as tough as denim and sheds burs, seeds and leaves. Virtually no other fabric remains as quiet while withstanding the punishment that a season’s worth of contact with heavy brush, wire fences and other in-the-field obstacles can deliver. The key to the unmatched strength and silence of this combed polyester material comes from its low-nap, incredibly tight, microweave construction. It also dries quickly, is breathable and is extremely wind-resistant. Best of all, it won’t fade even after repeated washings, guaranteeing the camo pattern and garment look like new for many seasons to come. Two super-large (10-1/2" x 10") zippered cargo pockets keep all your essentials secured and within easy reach, and slash handwarmer pockets keep fingers warm. Set-in sleeves allow you the freedom you need to draw a bow or climb to your treestand. The jacket also has a license tag loop on back and a heavy-duty YKK® zipper. Imported.

Good jacket

I love the Microtex fabric and own several pair of pants and shirts made of it. The fabric is quiet, tough as nails, and dries really fast when wet. The outfitter camo is a great pattern that works well in desert and forest. The jacket design is most of what I like - the sleeves are long enough that they don't sneak up on you; the back is generously cut so it doesn't bind when drawing a bow; lots of deep secure pockets. My only knock is the elastic bottom which is a little snug. I'd prefer to see this jacket with an open bottom that hangs over the belt.

Great for early archery

If you need a jacket with a good fit that won't get in the way of your bow on early season hunts, this is it. My only complaint is with the elastic in the waist. It is unusually tight. I wear a 34 inch waist, so that isn't the problem. Hopefully it will stretch a bit with time.

I needed a jacket @ the last minute for Turkey hunting. Just the right touch for a cold Pennsylvania hunt. Plan on using this same jacket for fall archery hunting also.
