The filament silk construction of these tall-sized crews lets moisture escape while retaining body heat. With its smooth texture and natural moisture-wicking ability, filament silk makes the ideal base for your layering system. The secret to its softness comes from its construction, where the cocoon of the Asian silkworm is unravelled in a single strand and woven into a smooth, lightweight fabric. I was pleasantly surprised to find silk this inexpensive, and was afraid that it would be of poor quality, but Cabela's really delivered: the construction seems solid and it feels as wonderful as silk should. I don't think I'm going to buy any other long underwear from now on.

I am very pleased with the comfort and fit of this base layer. I am 6'1"/210 lbs. and picky when it comes to comfortable tuck-in garments. The XL-Tall is the perfect size and would still fit well if my arms stretched out another 2 inches. I am looking forward to a Wyoming elk hunt this fall and am confident I have chosen the right base layer underwear...along with two other layers of Cabelas outerwear. I am a firm believer in quality and believe you get what you pay for. Thanks Cabelas!

Lightweight comfort that can't be beat

This silk wears so well as a base layer for a pretty wide range of activity and temperatures. Staying comfortable is what my hunting time in the field is all about. Not only do these tops fit like a glove, they provide significant warmth that will not leave you feeling clammy or damp. I own three pairs for different weights for any range of temperatures. Great comfort and value.
