Optimized to deliver comfortable performance to travelers and adventurers, this performance underwear will go anywhere in the world with you and return as good as new.  ExOfficio’s special Give-N-Go® fabric is lightweight, packable, wrinkle-resistant, moisture-wicking, fast-drying, stain-resistant and treated with bacteria- and odor-fighting Aegis Microbe Shield™. The fabric blend offers protection from UV rays. Carefully constructed to outlast traditional undergarments, these are also easy to wash on the road. Just wash by hand, wring out, lay flat on a towel, roll it up in the towel, apply pressure, then remove and hang dry. Depending on humidity, it will be dry and ready to wear in two to four hours. Get by for weeks in as little as two changes of underwear. Machine washable. Imported.

I ordered a pair of these, and thought "I've heard it all now..." Well, not only are these comfortable, they actually DO DRY out in short order, so you probably could get by packing two pair of these and hitting the trail. A bit pricey, but for underwear that lasts and does what it's supposed to, the price isn't that much!

Great underwear, esp for traveling

I bought these to use on an 8 day trip where I needed to travel as light as possible. They are, first and foremost, very comfortable to wear. They wick very well and are generally unnoticeable. When it comes time to wash, you can easily wash them in the sink and roll 'em up in a towel for drying. They'll air dry in an hour or two, no problem.
Now we'll see how long they last, but based on the construction, I bet they go the distance.
