As a retired truck driver I am very familiar with cabelas elkskin gloves. I was going thru 1or2 pairs of gloves a week untill my dad sent me a pair of cabelas insulated elkskin gloves. The best gift I ever recieved! I used them every day for 2 years, I think I would still be using them if I hadn't of lost them. I purchased the uninsulated and still get the same performance. My only wish is that cabelas would bring back the insulated version as well!

I LOVE THESE GLOVES

I have used these elkskin gloves for years and swear by them. They are soft but very durable. If you get them dirty you can wash them and let them air dry ( they will not harden like most leather items) and they are still soft and usable . I usally buy more when Cabela's puts them on sale and right now have enough to last the rest of my life. WHAT MORE CAN i SAY??? yOU WILL LIKE THEM!!!

poor fit and finish

i really thought these were going to be gloves with a great feel and touch. Instead they are rather thick, have thick inside seams that are not comfortable and one of the fingers on the left hand was tighter around the tip than the rest. not impressed
