Cabela’s teamed with W.L. GORE, maker of renowned GORE-TEX® products, to develop ultradurable, breathable outerwear that’s impervious to wind, highly water-resistant and deadly quiet. It bonds a soft, silent brushed-polyester shell, a WindStopper laminate and an amazingly soft and textured polyester lining that slips over other layers with quiet, frictionless efficiency. You can draw a bow, raise your binoculars or shoulder a firearm confident that the lining won’t bind or catch on another layer, creating noise that could betray your position. You can hunt silently wrapped in breathable water resistance that wind can’t penetrate. Tapered sleeves with articulation along their entire length results in an arm-conforming fit with unparalleled freedom of movement. Articulated sides from the armpits to the hem help the jacket move with you. Two vertical chest pockets, two front cargo pockets and a left sleeve pocket – all with Vislon® zippers. Cargo pockets have flaps with silent magnetic closures. Fully adjustable, head-conforming hood won’t impede vision. Imported.

I purchased this jacket and matching bids a month ago and have been wearing them for bowhunting. I have spent the money on many other expensive hunting gear such as Sitka, kryptek, Rivers West and this set is clearly every bit as good or even better than anything I have purchased!!!! With Cabelas warranty and the pure all around great construction of these pieces I think they hit the home run. Very comfortable, quiet and great for layering. You wont be disapointed!!

Elk Hunting

I bought this jacket a week before elk hunting, I have a hard time parting with that much money. This was the only jacket i needed over my ten day hunt for elk in the mountians in wyoming. I used it on the ride on on the fourwheeler and didn't feel any wind where the jacket was. It was about 30 degrees in the morning and had to peel it off about midday when it got warm. It is a great product and look forward to buying more cabelas windstopper products.
