Cabela's Over/Under WindShear™ Fatigue Sweater

For years, hunters and outdoorsmen have piled on the layers to protect themselves from the wind and cold, but now you can do it with just one versatile garment; our Over/Under WindShear™ Fatigue Sweater. The key to this all-purpose hunting sweater is the WindShear™ lining. This revolutionary fabric is a special laminate-backed high-performance membrane that blocks wind, yet breathes to let perspiration vapor escape, keeping you dry and comfortable. Plus, it increases the insulation value without significantly adding to the weight or affecting the fit of the garment. The outer layer is constructed of 100% wool jacquard for all the warmth and long-wearing durability that has made wool a favorite among outdoor enthusiasts for generations. The traditional three-button styling allows for easy ventilation and versatility. The Loden Green sweater has cotton blend patches on the shoulders and forearms. Imported. Dry-clean only.

I have worn this sweater during the rifle season and extended bow season in weather with temps in the low 20's and have stayed comfortable while on post for hours. I did not wear a coat over it. The wind does not go through it...period! Just carry it in to your stand or you will be sweated up by the time you get there. Only negative is that it is a bit noisy because of the wind shear fabric in very cold temps. I highly recommend this sweater.

this is the single greatest piece of clothing i have bought, period. It stops the wind and keeps you warm. this sweater takes the place of multiple layers. I wear under armour cold gear and this sweater alone bow hunting when it is 40 deg. buy one or two. just wish it wasn't dry clean only.

I love wool and this is the best piece I have bought. I had it on an ice out BWCA fishing trip this spring. It is warm and very comfortable. A great layer to add on cold days. Well constructed,
