Cabela's Ultra-Pack Synthetic Down Jacket

This jacket is perfect as a midlayer or worn alone during the early season. Synthetic down insulation offers a lighter weight and a loft similar to natural down without the tendency to mat. Plus, synthetic-down garments are affordable. The Jacket features two zippered front slash pockets and a full-length front zipper. The high collar, drawcord waist and elastic cuffs ward off chilly winds. Soft, quiet polyester shell and taffeta lining. Imported.

In my opinion, the Ultra Pack jacket is the best choice you can make if you are looking for a warm, wind resistant, very lightweight, sufficiently quiet jacket that packs to a very small size and dries easily. If you combine this jacket with a good zip t neck camo thermal layer (to dress down to), and a good (doesn't have to be expensive) 200 gram fleece outer jacket with decent pockets/hood you have just assembled the ultimate 5 option combination system that will work during bow and rifle seasons and temps that go from 20 degrees celsius to minus 30 degrees celsius. Add a snow camo cover up jacket and you're into late season blasting coyotes. I'd be super happy with it if it came with a 2 way zipper.

I would definitely recommend this jacket. It is warmer than expected. So far in MN we haven't had real cold temps yet, but I've been wearing it alone in high teens and low 20's and it has kept me perfectly warm. I was shoveling last night in 20 degree weather with just a tshirt on underneath and was warm. Great product and I love the outfitter camo!

I received this jacket in the mail last week. The jacket was comportable and warm. The cuffs of the sleeves are kind of tight but overall this jacket will be a good addition to my hunting wardrobe.
