Keep warm, comfortable and be confident your clothing will not make game-spooking noise with our Legacy Fleece Hooded Jacket with WindShear. The heavyweight, double-sided fleece shell withstands the abuse of the roughest terrains, yet never makes a sound. And since it compresses tightly, it can be efficiently layered under heavier garments in cold conditions without worry of excess bulk. The jacket has an attached hood with drawstring adjustments, two zippered slash pockets and a drawstring hem with cord locks. It also boasts a full-zip front and license loop. WindShear is a special laminate-backed, high-performance fabric that blocks wind, yet is breathable to let perspiration vapor escape, keeping you dry and comfortable. When used as a lining, WindShear increases the insulation value without significantly adding to the weight or affecting the fit of the garment. Imported.

I've got two of these jackets, my father has one, and one of my best friends has one. We all agree that this is our favorite jacket. This jacket is great for mornings that is just cold enough for one jacket, or for those mornings that require layering of clothing. It is light weight, plenty of room to move around, and has held up for multiple years without any flaws. Thinking about buying two more to put up encase they quit making them. I highly recommend this jacket. I love it ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Cabela's Legacy Fleece with WindShear is a great material used in a number of great Cabela\u2019s products. This jacket is one of them.
The jacket is much warmer than your first impression might suggest. The WindShear fabric does an excellent job of blocking the wind which greatly expands the range of conditions in which this jacket is useful. The stuff is almost magical. You stay nice and warm on a cold, windy day and yet even under exertion, the WindShear fabric breathes exceptionally well.
I would not like to ever be without one of these jackets. It\u2019s easily the finest fleece that I own. Well that\u2019s not entirely true as I also own the Cabela's Legacy Fleece 1/4-Zip Pullover with WindShear.
I would recommend buying a few in case Cabela\u2019s ever decides to stop making them. This would be a hard piece to replace. Super functionality at a great price. Great job Cabela\u2019s!

I wore this jacket throughout the Elk season as my outer layer in sub 20F temps, and it worked great.
At temps above 40F, I found it to be too warm unless on stand.
I had to remove it when walking in 1st thing in the morning (about 30F), and then put it back on once I got above 8000ft.
I can't imagine how warm the Whitetail MT050 wear must be.
Given the price I paid, I think this is a fantastic jacket.
For warmer weather, I wear an unlined fleece jacket.

Good job again, Cabelas. I use the jacket and pants for mid season bowhunting with Under Armour Cold Gear as a base and Scent Lok Base Slayers over that, and these on top. Works well in October weather. Light, wind blocking, and quiet makes it deadly. I Put my blaze parka and bibs over all that to rifle hunt, and stay warm thanks to the fleece.
Great product. Highly recommended for mid season bow and late season layering. Dual purpose!
