Drawing from field experience with our Hypoallergenic Synthetic Down, we created a jacket that incorporates enhanced articulation in the joints without compromising the packability or superior warmth offered by our ultraefficient synthetic down. Soft, quiet polyester exterior is backed with a taffeta lining to make them easy to slip on. Berber fleece-lined body and neck for added warmth and comfort. Base layers glide effortlessly underneath. Wear alone during mild-weather hunts or as a layer in extreme cold. Tapered sleeves conform to the shape of your arms and shoulders for uninhibited movement. Adjustable cuffs seal out wind and moisture, and a stand-up collar defends your neck from cold. Two external front pockets and an internal vertical chest pocket, all with innovative YKK® Vislon® lockable zippers. Imported.

Criticism as loud is misplaced

Some have criticized this product as being too loud. I purchased this jacket nonetheless. This product is not designed as an exterior garment, rather, it is a middle layer as is clearly stated. Wearing the jacket as a mid layer as designed will not expose the frabric to physical contact with anything that could create noise. I wouldn't call the fabric loud in any case, but it's surely not as quiet as fleece either. As a mid layer I think this jacket and related pants are perfect for cold weather and a great addition to my hunting gear.

LOUD...

This jacket feels really nice but it is LOUD. I had my wife listen in the living room while I moved on our stairs and she could hear me. I tried it out on a 42 degree day and I could not make a move without tons of noise. If you are not a bow hunter then this might be an ok coat because it is very warm just very loud. I wanted so much to add this to my MT5050 Rainwear for my layer system but just could not do it. Cabelas should ad a better coating to quiet this garment and I would buy it in a heartbeat.
