So far so good
Date:
I only tried it a few times towards the end of the ski season. It keeps the wind out, heavy construction. Seems to be sturdy. I am going to purchace the down liner at the beginning of the 2012 ski season, I am sure it will keep me very warm. All I can say is I am a little concerned about the zipper. Hope it lasts. But so far so good. Oh one other thing, the hood, I agree with the other reviews, should have a liner, or a place to stash it when not in use. Works as a parachute when I'm flying down the hill.

Very Good, not perfect
Date:
Seems like a good coat so far. I paired this with a down zip in liner, and in the 1 blizzard I've been in, I stayed warm and dry. The fabric is heavy duty, similar to Cabelas Guidewear line raingear. I'm 6'5, and about 230 but the L/T fits me great, I'm impressed with the sleeve and trunk length.
3 things that don't trill me: the hood has no liner and in high wind it's not wonderful, the liner bunches when you take it off (it's not terrible though if you take your time) What I am worried about is the outer zipper is difficult to zip up (especially with cold hands or heavy gloves), which may cause it to break soon, or at any rate it's annoying.
Other than that I like the coat, it looks good (i got the blue), it's comfortable, warm, and it should hold up, I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could

Great within limitations
Date:
Extremely well made parka with excellent material. Everything is heavy duty and well designed. Some bit of stiffness of fabric from Dry Plus, but not bad. Is quiet for this type of parka. Large for size. Perfect for wet regions or in snow. Hood is just OK. Is very adjustable, but really needs a heavier liner.
Parka is very flexible and easy to move in. Would not hesitate wearing fishing or hunting. Elastic cuffs inside sleeves took a little getting used to, but now I don't even think about them.
Wearer should keep in mind this is a LAYERING parka. By itself, it is not that warm, but with a long sleeve shirt, sweater, vest, etc. is absolutely the best; even for extreme cold areas with wind.
I've been able to actually dress lighter when layering with this than with other parka shells or light coats. With light layering, has kept me warmer and more maneuverable than when wearing a heavy coat.
Only reason four stars and not five is that I think it would do better if if had a light wool/nylon blend lining in the body and hood.
Otherwise, is superb; especially for the money.
