Cabela's A-2 Canvas Jacket with Thinsulate™ – Regular

These classic jackets are styled after the WWII military-issue coat. This jacket adds 150-gram Thinsulate insulation for warmth without noticeable weight or bulk. The heavyweight 100% cotton twill shell with bi-swing back and gusseted arms offers durable comfort with freedom of movement. Each has a knit waist and cuffs, along with a YKK® zippered front with snap-over storm flap. Other features of this jacket are two cargo pockets, hand-warmer pockets, a zippered chest pocket, an inside security pocket, and a leather collar and pocket trim. Imported.

Best Bang for the Buck!

I have used 2 of the A2 jackets over the last 4 Years. One for the field and one for my job. This jacket is 100% a quality product. The field use involves cold weather, thorny trees, and very rough exposure to a variety of field conditions. No tears, no rips, no diminishment of wind protection during both snow and rain. The field use jacket looks and wears as good as when it was purchased 4 years ago. The other jacket worn to my job site for the past 2 years is my semi dress jacket I wear often. This is an excellent product that will wear well, look great, and protect the wearer from the elements. Pocket placement is great and easily accesible. I bought a third one in case Cabelas would stop offering this jacket. Better get one now before they are no longer offered --- buy 2 one for the field and one to wear as casual. Love this coat, warm, comfortable, plenty of pockets, think the fabric will wear good, it is good for work or if you are going out in a casual atmosphere. Think I should buy another!

Great jacket. Fits well, warm, length is just right.
I thought at firt that this jacket may feel too bulky and heavy, but it doesn't. It is not at all stiff and the weight is perfect.
I drive a lot and this jacket is comfortable to wear in the car. Good job on selecting this jacket for the Cabela's name.

This jacket is a great all-around piece of outer wear in this climate. Plenty of pockets and a wonderful casual jacket for outdoor activity. Looks great and is very comfortable.
