Great boots!
Date:
Great boots! I use the Danner Sierra and Danner Grouse boots throughout our Nebraska hunting seasons, starting with prairie chickens in Sept. all the way through the pheasant/quail season that ends in January 31st. They keep me comfortable, warm and dry the whole time. One exception, I don't use them in the layout blind for geese, a little chilly. These Danner's are a moving mans boot!

Great boots
Date:
I've had a pair of these boots for 15 years now. I use them for everything, I'm going to finally break down and get a new pair but will still keep this pair for backups. When I originally bought them, I didn't have time to break them in and went Elk hunting in them. I thought I was going to be paying for my stupidity due to I walked about 6 miles a day in those boots for a week but the boots were so comfortable that I never even had any discomfort, they felt like I have been wearing them for years. The boots are water poof and warm in the winter (great for snow) but not too hot in the summer. What else can I say, I love these boots.

The Best Boot I've Ever Owned!
Date:
I bought this exact boot in high school and am still enjoying it at age 30! Whether for extended backpacking trips, long days of hunting, or otherwise, I've never owned a boot that outperforms or outlasts this one and I wear it 4-seasons per year in Kansas / Colorado and now Illinois. The best of the many fine qualities is the ability to lace down tight to the toes- great for steep and rocky terrain. After 10+ years I\u2019m considering when I might need to buy my second pair.

Best boot on the market
Date:
Solid boot for steep rocky country (Idaho) and long hikes. Fits great with ability to pull laces snug over the ball of your foot. They do strech when they get soaked, and the waterproofing works great for the first year of hard use. I have tried other Danner boots and other manufactures, but nothing compares to this boot. The Danner Grouse and Hood Winter light are also solid, but soles are not as good for rocky slopes.
