I haven't worn these boots in really cold weather yet, but down to 20 F they have been warm and comfortable. They are lightweight and easy to walk around in. For some reason I don't understand, with a reasonable walking tempo I don't sweat in them either. I have worn Danner boots for 20 years, and these are up to the Danner standards.

bit bulky

this picture shows the un-insulated version of the boot. the 1200-gram insulated is much bulkier. but even with the added bulk of the boot if your looking for a good warm hunting boot this is it. had them for 5 weeks, 2 deer trips and 2 pheasant hunts and they have worn very nice.

Warm durable boot

After buying a new pair of cheap boots for two years I finally broke down and bought these. Last year I wore them during all turkey and deer hunts and now I am using them for deer hunting. They were comfortable and not hot during the spring turkey season even with merino socks. I just used them two days ago in cold weather and my feet never got cold. I have never had water leak through even when I walked through 2-4 inches of water while pheasant hunting. They have been comfortable since the first day I wore them . They just now seem to be really broken in and seem like they will last for a minimum of 5 more years. I love these boots!
Throw on a pair of merino wool socks and these boots and you are good to go in any climate. I cant say enough about these boots. Buy them!

What more could you want from a cold weather hunting boot? I have worn these hunting with temps ranging from 4* at sunrise to 30* by lunch and my feet were toasty warm the entire day...wore them ice fishing on a 6* morning and my feet were again toasty warm all day standing on the lake...have been standing in ankle deep water and feet were bone dry...I really have never had a pair of boots as warm, dry, comfortable and bulletproof as these boots here...can't recommend them enough.
