I got these boots to replace my lighter winter boots for outdoor chores and ice fishing. I really wanted to test out the omni-heat technology, but never had a chance. When i recieved the boots I decided to test their waterproof capabilities since its no fun on lake in the slush with wet feet. So, i put the boots on, filled the tub with 4" of water and sat down. 2 minutes later i noticed that my left foot was getting moist, test over. I contacted Cabela's, #after checking the Columbia site, since the boot box did not say omni-tech, to confirm the omni-tech which the Colombia site does not say it has either,# I informed the sales rep about the discrepancy, he apologized, said if I wanted to exchange or return that they wouldn't charge me the additional return fee. So, I've decided to give the Colombia Bugastump a shot since it says omni-tech on both sites. I do have to say that the customer service was excellent, and hopefully they can get the discrepancy taken care of quickly, and I will let you all know how the Bugastump works out.
