The Duck Boots that last forever!
Date:
Okay, maybe that is an overstatement...but I have owned mine now for 14 years. 14 years of hunting, and a lot of trudging through mud and snow taking my dogs on walks and hikes. The rubber sole still has most of its tread, the rubber toe, the part that usually cracks and breaks over time in almost any other brand, is still waterproof and in good shape. The leather uppers are still sound and whole, and the stitching has held up well...for 14 years and counting. I've gone through at least 5 sets of laces...but that is to be expected. I'm still waiting for them to wear out so I can buy a new pair! These boots are worth every penny and more. They are durable and comfortable, and best of all, they give you traction in the snow and mud while keeping your feet dry. These are the only brand I would every buy again.

No break in
Date:
These boots are really comfortable, and light. I purchased the uninsulated for snow shoveling and outside work in Northwest Ohio. There is no break in period. Since the the uppers are all leather with a smooth outside, the inside is not smooth so when you take your boots your socks come off with them, still an outstanding boot, last pair lasted 14 years, tacky sole helps when it is icey.

perfection at a value price
Date:
I am not a big all rubber boot fan since I need solid ankle support in a lightweight boot. Cabela's hit it with these boots! I do alot of upland hunting in all kinds of conditions in upstate New York and these boots are perfect. The comfort, traction, light weight, insulation and durability is second to none. Great product!
