Cabela's"Perfekt™" 10" Hunter Boots by Meindl

When German master boot maker Alfons Meindl finished this series of boots for us, he had one word to describe it – "Perfekt". In fact, they’re built so well, they’re recommended by the American Podiatric Medical Association for their foot-friendly construction. At the heart of the series is a layer of natural cork that not only protects your joints from shock, but molds to your foot for custom support. Added to this is a Poron™ heel insert that resists compression for even more shock absorption and a comfortable walking stride. A moisture-managing layer over the footbed draws moisture away and transfers it to a dispersing layer, so your feet remain dry and comfortable. A 100% waterproof/breathable GORE-TEX® membrane keeps the sloppiest elements sealed out. And the DIGAfix® lacing system snugs the boots around your instep and heel, eliminating slippage without pinching or binding. A rugged polyurethane midsole adds an additional layer of comfort, and the Multigrip® rubber outsole offers no-slip traction on loose terrain. The 10" Nubuck Hunter is enhanced with lightweight 400-Gram Thinsulate™ Ultra insulation for added warmth in cooler weather, and it sports full-grain nubuck leather for added durability. Made in Germany.

With my job I have owned many nice boots, a lot of them from Cabelas, I have to hike in all conditions and all terrains and these boots are amazing. From the first time I put them on, they are the most comfortable boots I have worn!

THE BOOT !

I am not a hunter I use these boots for work, but I can see why they would be great. I work for San Jose Water Company so my boots are wet all the time and my feet stay dry. I would typically get six months out of a pair of boots until I purchased my Cabelas Perfect Hunters. My boots last up to sixs months longer. I can't say enough about these boots. I have purchased five pairs for the last five year. Go try a pair on and you will be sold!

I never thought that I would buy boots for this much money in my life. I was looking for quality and something that would last me a lifetime, I found them. The only thing stopping me from keeping these boots until death is my foot growing.
