Sound-deadening outsoles match rigid outer treads with a cushioned middle section for the ultimate combination of stability and stealth. Full-grain leather and mesh uppers keep weight to an absolute minimum without jeopardizing durability. An innovative tongue design and reinforced, flexible laces, called Hunter’s nocks, in the middle of the boots promote unmatched flexibility. The broken-in fit proves essential while crouching, climbing or running during intense hunts. Waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® linings deliver dry all-day comfort in any weather. Air-Active® footbeds comfortably conform to the bottom of your feet. Shock-absorbing EVA midsoles with stability-enhancing TPU shanks. Triple-stitched lower section maximizes overall strength. Versatile Meindl Multigrip® MTH® rubber outsoles have an aggressive tread pattern for ground-biting traction on any terrain. 800-gram Thinsulate™ Insulation for mid- to late-season hunts. Imported.

The PERFECT Boot

After my current boots failed in cold, wet weather I began the search for new boots. Having used Danner's in the military, I started there. Good boots but rubbed badly on ankles, returned them. Saw these Cabela's by Meindl. Took a flyer on a new product with no reviews, but they met all of my criteria. High value insulation, check; Gore-Tex, check; light weight- meaning not heavy, check; quality manfucturer, check, research Meindl on your own. Now all that was left was whether they were comfortable. Holy cow, they were perfect right out of the box and already felt broken in, and I'm a tough fit! Now that it has gotten cold and ugly, I can tell you that they are awesome, and I RARELY use that word!. It was 16 last night, and I was toasty. Like them so much, I'm giving my son-in-law a pair for his b'day, he's a big outdoorsman. Plus they're on sale! Life is good. Buy these, you'll be glad you did!!!

Warm and comfortable

These are the most comfortable fit, right out of the box, that I have ever had. I didn't require any breakin period and the boot was as advertised. Warm, comfortable and waterproof. Just what the doctor ordered for fall moose hunting in Northern British Columbia. They are extremely light and well made. I should be wearing these for many years to come!

I do not leave many reviews, let alone a 5 star review.
These boots Impressed me so much I had to leave something.
I have many foot problems, I was born with club feet, both were broken and reset when young. This makes it extremely hard to find shoes that are comfortable, let alone boots. These boots are more comfortable than any shoe I have ever worn. I am looking forward to seeing how they hold up. Thank you for such a comfortable product.

Comfortable and light

I tried on numerous boots, Cabela's Pro, Danner, Irish Setter to name a few and these were by far the most comfortable plus they are light. I normally wear a 12 but ended up with an 11 1/2. The guys at the retail store said they run big and most people take a 1/2 size smaller and some even a full size. I got the 800 gram and like these boots enough that if the 400 grams go on sale I would not hesitate to buy. I can't review the durability yet as I have had only had week.
