Feels like a slipper right out of the box
Date:
This is my first pair of Danners and it won't be my last. I put them on when I received them and they felt like I put on my broken in slippers they were so comfortable. After wearing them for a whole day hiking there was no foot or leg fatigue what so ever, even with them being a brand new pair right out of the box with no break in time at all. "FANTASTIC" I have never been able to say that about any other boots I have owned in my 58 years. I will be buying another pair as a back up because after these no other boot will do. Highly Recommended . Give them a try, I know you won't be disappointed.

Best boots I've ever owned
Date:
I just picked up these boots on my way out to Colorado for an Elk hunt. I'm so glad I picked these, as I've owned just about every brand of boots out there. I realize that I've only worn them for nine days, but these were nine days of hicking to the top of the mountain and back down to camp at 9,300 ft. They were so comforable that I wasn't in a hurry to take them off at the end of a hard day of hicking. I climbed over everything imaginable. They really helped with climbing up that mud & clay base in Colorado. I wore them in the rain and snow, and the long hot days as well. Again, couldn't be more pleased.

Good, not great
Date:
This is my first pair of Danner boots. I bought some similar to this pair but in the 1000 gram style. I love them for comfort and warmth. They feel like they are pre-broke in. I typically buy Rocky boots, but decided to try something different. These Danner boots are great, but they easily look worn and need to have the danner leather treatment readily avaliable. With out this, the boots will not last. I personally don't want to have to worry about putting on leather treatment everytime I walk for pheasants or go out to the honey hole for ducks, so I will be getting a pair with a toe guard or a different material around the toe area. They are a very comfortable boot, but doesn't fit my need for convenience.
