Cabela's Compression Merino Wool Socks

Anyone who stands or sits for prolonged periods of time, whether at work, in the car or while hunting and fishing, can benefit from therapeutic relief provided by these compression support socks. They are knit with varying compression zones in the foot and leg. Compression is higher surrounding the feet (17mm/Hg), gradually lightening up through the length of the sock to the calf (7mm/Hg). This stimulates blood flow and reduces swelling. Wear a pair and your feet, ankles and legs will be less prone to feel tired and achy at the end of the day. Merino wool socks dry 25% faster and are 3-1/2 times more abrasion-resistant than other merino wool socks. The wool provides warmth and softness and won't itch. 35% merino wool, 35% Polypropylene, 28% nylon, 2% spandex. Per pair. Made in USA.

Excellent socks for cold weather
Date:
These are the best socks if you have to be on your feet in the cold. They are light weight and comfortable. No tired feet at the end of the day and they last a long time too.

Snug, Warm and Feels Great
Date:
These socks as snug, but surprising not tight. They are warm. They feel like they run small, partly because they fit so snug, and they don't just slip on, so take that into consideration. I usually wear a size 8 womens so I got the medium size socks. I bought a number of these to wear to work when it gets cold (I have a desk job) or for hiking in the winter under my lightweight winter boots. Be careful when you wash them - cold water and line dry. I will buy more to give to my kids for stocking stuffers!

These socks are bad
Date:
I am an avid Cabela's fan. They usually have great products. Unfortunately, these socks are not one of them. In short, the compression socks will not stay up. Instead, they slip down your leg. I strongly encourage you not to buy them. Cabela's has many fine products. This just is not one of them. This is the first time that I felt like I was ripped off.
