Helly Hansen® has been an industry leader and providing gear for work, survival and sport for decades. These Bib Pants using a unique waterproof and stretchable fabric, the new Impertech II material incorporates a soft, polyester knit backing and elastic polyurethane coating that results in a stretch factor of 200%. The waterproof coating is impervious to rain, abrasion-resistant and quiet. Features a high front and lower back; heavy-duty, click-type connectors; knee-length zippers; and edge-stitched, welded seat and knees. Imported.

I have tried other rain gear and Helly Hanson is by far the best. The reason I got mine was from reading an article by an Alaskan outfitter that specified this to his clients. These will not leak period, and they are comfortable and not very noisy (I would not hesitate using this in a tree stand for deer). The only thing that I wish they had in the bibs is a couple of outside waterproof pockets, besides the one on the inside. Forget the Goretex and jump in one of these and you'll stay dry no matter what. If you are stalking, dress a bit lighter underneath because they do not breath like Goretex. But I've gotten wet wearing Goretex after an extended period of time in the rain.
