Great light rainjacket

Bought this as a packable shell to throw on top of my 90% jacket if it rains, waterproofing is excellent, about the noise in other reviews, it is quieter than the rain pouring down so not worried about that for archery, but would recommend the 90% for when its not raining, the open country pattern is awesome for any situation from dissapearing into trees or a rocky area, Love It!

Exactly as described, it's a packable light weight Goretex shell for when the conditions turn to rain and a lot of it. Yes, it's a Goretex shell without a brushed finish, so it's going to be loud for bowhunting, but ideal for a rifle hunt in mixed weather conditions. No insulation, just a shell, I suspect it will "soften" up over time and use and will get quieter through the season.

Great if You aren't bowhunting

This coat was great at keeping me dry but was loud for bowhunting. It would work great on a rifle hunt. It could also have a couple of chest pockets. I'm going to try the regular Stormfront, not the lite.
