Poor Quality Boot

I have been purchasing these Woodsman boots for years and loved the previous version / manufacturer. This new version boot is made with poor quality. Both boots (right and left) have ripped out above my heel and the soles have worn out much faster. I always buy the Tan boot for the non-marking soles, they used to be great.

Well-made shoes, but one drawback. Right boot has less size than the left one (2-3 mm into my pair) and this causes some discomfort.

Off the Mark

This is the third pair of the Woodsman boots I have purchased from Cabela's. All three appeared to be made from different manufacturers. The first two pairs were all leather with oil resistant, vibram type soles. None of the cheap looking suede and plastic-like soles like on this last pair. I have always stood by Cabela's products but I wish I had spent the extra $20 for the Rocky boots.

Needed a lighter hunting boot for warmer weather; early deer season and spring turkey hunting (North Carolina). I love my Cabela's Iron RIdge all leather with 800 grams, so I thought I would give these a try, especially since the Bargain Cave had a great price. Just got them and have been wearing them all day. While they are not listed as being waterproof (reason why I gave 4 stars), I have to say that they are pretty darn comfortable. I will treat them later to make them water resistant, but for now, I'm very satisfied. My hunting buddy is ordering a pair, as well.
