Cabela's Whitetail Extreme™ Boots with 600-Gram GORE-TEX® Scent-Lok®

    • Aggressive bob outsoles and cushioned EVA midsoles
Developed with every aspect of the hunt in mind. The features incorporated into this footwear are there to make sure your feet are comfortable and ready for any weather from sunrise on opening day until sunset the last day of the season. Full-grain leather and 900-denier nylon uppers give you a superb combination of durability and flexibility in a lighter weight for stalking. GORE-TEX Scent-Lok inside is 100% waterproof but breathable, and reduce game-spooking scent. Abrasion-resistant heel, toe and side rands take on the toughest terrain. Bob rubber cup outsoles provide traction on a variety of surfaces. Removable polyurethane footbeds and EVA midsoles keep your feet comfortable on longer hunts. Gusseted tongues lock out debris. Imported.

Very comfortable but will not keep your feet dry

Walking in wet grass will get your feet wet. I have had these boots for a couple of years now and they have never stayed dry in the rain or wet grass. Once wet, the insulated version will take DAYS to dry out. In dry conditions they are probably the most comfortable boots I have owned. Easy to walk in.

Dissatisfied with "waterproof"

These boots fit well and are very comfortable. However the pair I have are not at all waterproof. Feet get wet just walking in dew covered grass in no time and forget full submersion. Great boots for upland but stay out of wet conditions if you dont want wet feet.

These are great hunting boots to invest in not only because its backed by Cabelas but the quality of the product is amazing. It took me several days breaking in the boots but with most shoes you need to break them in. Overall these boots meet my needs in a wet climate along with comfort and those are the main reason for my purchase.

My first pair lasted about 10 years! I recently bought my second pair and they are just as great! I am the type of hunter that walks and hikes the majority of my hunting time. I put hundreds of miles on these boots in some of the nastiest western and mid western terrains. These boots flawlessly provided sure footing, comfort and warmth throughout! Awesome boot!
