Outstanding boots but not for bigger guys
Date:
I wish the band at the calf was adjustable so they worked for me. I had to return them since the calf was too tight. Muck, please fix this issue and I'll buy the new pair in a second.

Great buy
Date:
I got these for duck hunting a public land area that I walk into. The walk in is about 40 minutes through tall grass and then at the backwoods pothole. This is to far for waders and ofter the grass is covered with morning dew making for a wet walk. The boots performed to expectations -- I stayed dry and they are high enough to set out the decoys on the pond edge. There was no break-in period and a good fit for me. I do have other muck boots so I knew the quality prior to this purchase.

Best boot I have owned
Date:
I was looking at the Woody Max and these.
I bought these boots for an early Jan. Duck hunt in Southern Illinois. Temps were 7 degrees, 15 MPH winds. 5 inches of snow.
I have worn leather boots, and rubber boots before these.
I was hesitant to believe that they had a temp comfort range of -20 to +70 degrees. I normally wear a 10 but bought an 11 so I could wear a thicker sock.
I was in the duck blind from 8am until 5pm and my feet never got cold. I wore a wool sock with the boots, and feet actually started to sweat a little. The fit of these boots is Awesome. They wear like tennis shoes, and are extremely light compared to my other insulated rubber boots.
The extendable gaiter is a bonus in case water gets a little higher than your boots. Just unsnap, unroll, pull up and cinch to the knee.
These are by far the best boot I have ever owned. Time to clean out my closet of all my other boots. I will not buy anything else but these from now on.
