LaCrosse® ZXT Irrigation Boot

When your work calls for standing in knee-deep water, the added length of these rubber boots gives superior protection from moisture and muck. The ozone-resistant rubber shell promotes exceptional durability and abrasion resistance for years of use in harsh outdoor conditions. And for a secure, non-binding fit, the top of the boot is equipped with a strap-and-buckle adjustment. A lining of 100% cotton duck makes it easy to slip in and out of the boots and resists wear from the inside. Full-cushion foam footbed conforms to the shape of your foot for all-day comfort. Lightweight fiberglass shank adds arch support. Imported.

Good for the right application

I purchased these hip boots for early season ducking hunting preparation and first flight hunting. These hip boots like most LaCrosse gear are a well made, good product. They are light weight, are essentially a taller Lacrosse rubber boot. They are not as tall as a hip wader. They do not have buckled tie at the top for hooking into your belt at your waist. The sinching straps are worthless. Fortunately for me, they fit and work well for what I wanted. They are not warm, but I didn't expect them to be. I would recommend these hip boots for the right application, but do not try to use these in place of good warm waders or tall hip boots.

Boots are great for use is wet and boggy areas. Much easier to get on and off than ankle fit boots. They still fit well and resist being pulled off the foot when the boots are used in a soft mud.

Good design - Poor longevity

Had a pair 15 years ago and they lasted three years failing at the ankle from deterioration despite exquisite care. Must say that design for fit and purpose are excellent for cleaning shallow ponds.
