Made exclusively for Cabela’s by Wigwam®, Ultimax socks don’t just wick away moisture, they actually channel perspiration and moisture up and out of your footwear, where it can evaporate quickly. These Socks feature blends of X20® acrylic and olefin – technologies made to accommodate your feet. Full terry cushioning throughout combines with thin terry soles for superior cushioning without bulk. Toe seams have smooth loops to reduce friction and blistering. Terry-ribbed legs with spandex provide support and hold the sock in place. Anatomically formed Y-heel pockets offer an all-around better fit. Designed for year-round comfort and moisture control. 45% X20 acrylic, 30% olefin, 20% stretch nylon, 5% Lycra®. Made in USA.

I have owned many different cabelas socks and been happy with all. In Fall 2011 I bought 3 pair of these socks and after about 6 uses and washings they are all showing wear.Not good

Nice out of the box but after about 4 month of wash and wear, looking threadbare on wear areas - ball of foot etc. Not typical Cabela's quality - look elsewhere.

Comfy but stinky

I bought four pair of these sock to wear under my all-leather work boots. While they are comfortable, and seem to wear well, they will start to stink after a while, even if you don't normally have stinky feet. Even with washing with special odor masking soap didn't help. By comparison, Cabela's inGenius/X-static socks or their Ultimate Wool medium weight socks are significantly better at combating foot odor.

Field tested on a turkey hunt. Kept my feet warm and dry. The one time I did get wet feet from a stream it didn't take long for the socks to dry. Nice cushioning; did about 5 miles in combat boots in nearly complete comfort.
