I am so pleased with these boots! i work construction and these boots keep my feet dry in the mud even after several months of use unlike other boots that will let u down only after a month. The soles grip well enough to use on roofs too. I will definately buy another pair once these wear out. 15 out of 10 i LOVE em!!
I'm a true 11.5, in Keen or Lowa, a dead on 11.5. The recommendation is to order one full size down from your real size. I just couldn't do it, so I ordered an 11 and I'm glad I did. A little roomy, but a 10.5 would have been tighter than a cheap pair of pants. I removed the liner and put in a thicker gel type and I'm happy with this boot. I can't see hiking in this boot, too flexible for the Rocky Mountains. I didn't buy for hiking but rather for motorcycling replacing my milspec boots that weigh in at 5 pounds. Great boot, but a full size down is overkill, IMHO. The 6 inch height is good, can be worn with shorts and not look like an English mod from the '70s.
Very comfortable hiking boot. I find myself wearing them for everything else too. Four stars is probably an unfair rating but why should you have to guess at the shoe size? I had to return the first pair and drop a full size to get the correct fit. Now that I know my size I will be ordering another pair.
