It passed my test at 30 feet in the treestand.

I have used the 3.0 for two winters hunting. This product will keep you warm and you don't have to worry about getting chilly when you have cooled down. Worth every bit to me for the comfort of staying warm.

the best base layer hands down

The 3.0 crew and pant are hands down the best you can buy.I tested the set in -5 degree weather and was impressed .They are soft and comfortable as they are warm.Dont let the price tag deter you.I wish UNDER ARMOUR would come out with a glove liner with the same matrial

If you're hesitant on spending the extra money on the Under Armour product, don't be. I just completed my first season with the Base 3.0 and was simply amazed. I did sweat in them, but the nice thing about Under Armour is the material dries quickly and it doesn't stick to your skin. I am buying another set to wear for winter while snowblowing, snowmobiling and sledding with my kids.

The Under Armour 3.0 shirts and pants are pretty expensive, but probabaly worth it. I use them under my suit during winter in Ohio- and they are comparable to Polartech with less bulk. It would have been easy to be disappointed too considering the price.
