I have been a duofold union suit guy for over 20 years. Used that for hunting, skiing, snowmobiling & working outside on construction sites. All cold weather outdoor activities.
On a friend's recommendation I bought a set (top & bottom) of the Evo 3.0 for skiing. This past weekend is was 3d F at the base of the mountain. I wore the UA cold gear, a fleece mid-layer, and outer layer. I was extremely happy with the UA gear. I was never in the least bit cold and did not sweat despite being an aggressive & active skier.
I will buy a scent lock version for hunting if it is offered.
Bought these along with the 3.0 top. Works great for watching my son's football games in 40 degree weather. The 3.0 base layers along with just a jacket and jeans is plenty warm for spectating.
Not so great when playing golf. They are actually too warm for any kind of activity.
I wish I had gotten the 2.5 instead. In fact I may try a set of those.
Consider your activity level when selecting which version to buy.
They do run true to size. I'm 5'8" 200lbs and these fit me perfectly.
