Cabela's Spring Run™ 5mm Felt 1,000-gram Waders – Stout

When the spring run hits and the weather is still biting cold, snow is layered on the banks and the streamside still has ice, you need a rugged wader that can stand up to the elements. Why sit on the couch when you could be fishing in these top-of-the-line neoprene fishing waders? They were specifically designed for cold weather and late/early-season steelhead fishing. 1,000-gram Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation in the boot for optimum warmth and protection from the weather. The large fleece-lined handwarmer pocket has a heat pack pocket that hangs freely at your fingertips, as well as other Velcro®-sealable pockets and mesh storage compartments for fly boxes and gear. Armor-Flex™ reinforced knee and upper-shin protection sewn in for the rough work on icy banks. Gray felt outsoles for superior streambed traction. Adjustable neoprene suspenders with elastic nylon webbing for a custom fit. 5mm Neostretch™ neoprene construction throughout for comfort and durability. The high-back construction prevents spillovers and provides extra warmth. D-ring on back for landing net attachment.

I live in Upstate New York and the steelhead fishing is best in January and February. I am 5\u20197 and 225 pounds, the stout boots are large enough for extra fleece and a coat underneath. They are warm and non-restrictive; provide a pocket for your hand warmers and a bonus compartment for the box of whatever you are using that day. I would recommend them to a friend.

Just received my waders in the mail. Thanks from the help of the Cabela's reps, my wader fit like a glove. Couldn't be a happier camper, or fisherman!!!! I am a big guy and the extra room of the stout waders is great! Would recommend these to anyone wanting a great deal and service. Thanks again!!

I steelhead fish in the PNW and this is the first pair
of waders that I have owned that always keep me warm.
By having the option to select the stout size I was able
to get a perfect fit. I have had a number of other fisherman remark on the quality of the waders. They
say that is what you would expect from Cabelas.
