I couldn't be happier...
Date:
This is a great pack. As advertised, waterproof, well thought out, actually has a rod holder on each side; I thought it only had one from the pictures. I am sorry the previous poster had a bad experience but I had just the opposite. This is a great bag and absolutely deserves 5 stars. Took it to the Bahamas for my first anniversary...kept everything dry and I caught a 14 lb. bone (had to throw the brag in there)...I'm sure it was the bag. Clearly kidding, but great product...Used every day for my go to for the entire summer. Over 100 days this summer of hard use and it's still like the day I got it...

Terrible quality control!
Date:
I'd have given this 5 starts except the quality control is terrible!! I'm a guide in NZ and purchased this based on the great reputation of Simms gear I've owned in the past. It arrived great fine, BUT opening the bag up and the two-pouch stitching was totally separated down both sides and starting in the middle!! REALLY POOR quality IMO from such a premimum product and a waterproof one at that.
If I was not on the other side of the world in NZ I'd send it back for a refund, but I need the bag for the opening of the trout season here. Very dissapointed in Simms, won't buy Simms again.

Simms Dry Creek Day Pack
Date:
Nothing puts more stress and demand on fishing equipment than travel to foreign places. I bought this bag to carry my incidental gear and keep it dry and safe on a 10 day trip to Chile last year. The fishing is great, but when the wind gets up and it starts raining hard you either have something completely waterproof or your things end up being a soggy mess. The bag did a great job and also kept the dust out on the hot dry days. Comfortable to wear and enough capacity to keep everything together. Looks to be about indestructible.

Perfect Fly Fishing Accessory
Date:
Light weight, waterproof, comfortable but not to bulky. Keeps personal items safe and dry and still has enough room to stuff your wading jacket in when the sun comes out. The ideal accessory when fly fishing in Alaska.
